1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, subscribing to, accessing, or using FeedFunds (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
FeedFunds is operated from the United States.
2. Description of Service
FeedFunds is a business recordkeeping and financial tracking tool designed to help independent professionals, creators, freelancers, small business operators, and other users organize income, expenses, income sources, expense categories, hours, units, deductions, notes, and related business records.
FeedFunds may calculate and display summaries and metrics based on information entered by users.
FeedFunds is not accounting software, tax preparation software, legal advice, financial advice, or professional accounting services.
The Service is provided for informational and organizational purposes only.
3. No Financial, Tax, Accounting, or Legal Advice
FeedFunds does not provide financial, tax, accounting, investment, or legal advice.
Any calculations, summaries, metrics, reports, exports, CSV files, hourly earnings, unit earnings, profit calculations, or other information generated by the Service are based on information entered into FeedFunds and are provided for informational purposes only.
You are responsible for verifying the accuracy and suitability of information before relying on it.
You are solely responsible for your tax filings, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, recordkeeping obligations, and business decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FeedFunds is not responsible for tax penalties, filing errors, inaccurate records or calculations, financial losses, business decisions, or other damages resulting from reliance on information provided through the Service.
4. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and for activity occurring through your account.
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information you enter into FeedFunds.
FeedFunds should not be your sole repository for records that you are legally, financially, or operationally required to retain. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate copies or backups of important business and financial records.
You agree not to misuse, disrupt, interfere with, reverse engineer, circumvent security controls, or attempt unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
5. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation
FeedFunds may offer paid subscription plans.
Applicable pricing, billing frequency, renewal terms, trial terms, if any, and other material subscription terms will be disclosed before you complete a subscription purchase.
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, paid subscriptions automatically renew for the applicable subscription period until canceled.
You may cancel your subscription using the cancellation options provided through FeedFunds. Cancellation prevents future renewal charges but does not ordinarily provide a refund for a subscription period that has already been paid, except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
Payments are processed using third-party payment providers, such as Stripe, Inc. FeedFunds does not store your full payment card number.
Payment processing may also be subject to the payment provider’s terms and privacy policies.
6. Data Storage, Security, and Service Availability
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information associated with the Service.
However, no internet-based service, transmission method, or data storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure or continuously available.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, permanent availability of data, or that data will never be lost, corrupted, delayed, or unavailable.
You are responsible for maintaining copies of records that are important to your business.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FeedFunds is not liable for data loss, service interruptions, technical failures, corruption, or temporary or permanent unavailability of the Service.
7. Intellectual Property
The FeedFunds software, branding, logos, designs, interfaces, and other content associated with the Service are owned by FeedFunds or its applicable licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of FeedFunds intellectual property to you.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, exploit, reverse engineer, or create unauthorized derivative works from the Service except where such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.
You retain ownership of the business and financial information you enter into FeedFunds.
8. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you materially violate these Terms, misuse the Service, create security risks, or engage in unlawful activity involving the Service.
Upon account termination, associated data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
FEEDFUNDS DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND AVAILABILITY.
We do not guarantee that the Service will always be accurate, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or suitable for any particular business, financial, accounting, tax, or legal purpose.
Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FEEDFUNDS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, LOST DATA, TAX PENALTIES, OR OTHER FINANCIAL LOSSES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FEEDFUNDS’ TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO FEEDFUNDS DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations of liability, so some of the limitations above may not apply to you.
11. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify, update, suspend, discontinue, or change portions of the Service from time to time.
We may also update these Terms.
When we make material changes to these Terms, we may provide notice through the Service, website, email, or another reasonable method.
Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or protections that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
